Stella Howell's Page

Stella studied English and Drama and gained an Honours degree whilst teaching English in Croydon schools.
Now happily retired she lives out the cliche of the campervan life travelling whenever possible. Her trips to India won the Telegraph Travel Writing prize for a piece on the Golden Triangle.
 
She says, 'My love of D.H.Lawrence brought me to write for the society journal and I continue to research his travel writing in particular.

'I enjoy writing creative non - fiction and experimenting with poetry, between keeping a journal of my travels and blogging occasionally. I also write letters and postcards to the amusement of my family!
